Race Retro: Feb 2014

This was our first show, and perhaps to early in the project development. But John and I thought we would be drinking tea most of the time, but the exact opposite happened. We were so inundated with visitors to the stand, we hardly had time to grab a cup of tea and a sandwich! I had my CAD models displayed on a 40" TV, and this proved a major attraction.

McLaren Employees Open day: Aug 2016

I worked at McLaren on bumper systems in 2014. I would have loved to still be working at McLaren, but I just could not handle the daily delays on the Dartford Crossing and M25. So after 3 months I moved back to work locally to my Rayleigh home. The invite to display at McLaren came from a long time ex-colleague who has been with McLaren 8 years. I met many interesting people and had a fascinating conversation with Neil Trundle.

Porsche Colchester "Cars and Coffee" Morning: Oct 2016

A late decision to visit the Porsche Colchester event. I took the car on a Alex's flatbed Transit and luckily the weather held. Great turnout of cars capped by a McLaren F1. And again many meet many interesting people, and interesting discussions.
