We have had a well-connected marketing man Michael Hodges I met on the STP stand at Autosport 2013, who has been following our project since then. And one of his connections was the editor of Octane James Elliott. After some discussion James agreed to writing an article about our 917 project. We needed to do some shake down runs and James recommended Bruntingthorpe aerodrome for the drive and photo shoot.

We arrived at Bruntingthorpe the day before the Octane shoot to do the shake down runs, and all went well on the Wednesday with no problems after several runs and around 50 miles on the clock but limiting the engine to 5000rpm as still running in. So we were all ready for Thursday when James arrived at 11.00. And the rest of the day went very well, best to read the pdf of the Octane article, or go and find Octane Issue 193/ July 2019.
