Eventually after 1 year of developing CAD models and having wheels, uprights, wishbones, stub axles (and many other parts) manufactured......we completed the first assembly of the rear wheels to the chassis Friday!

The bearings have fitted perfectly into the Kiartys Ltd NC machined uprights, so many thanks to Steve and the Kiarty team. And the stub shafts have fitted into the uprights again without any issues. And the wheels have assembled to the stub shafts without issue. But early days, and we won't be confident that everything fits and works correctly until we have several hundred miles clocked-up.

I have fitted the wheels with the long wishbone package, which moves the uprights outboard 45mm, so that the road package rims and tyres fill the arches. But may have overdone this, as the tyres are a tad close to the bodywork. So may have to trim the return flange back. But if 45mm is too much, then I can update the CAD models and suspension wishbone jig to reduce this to 40 or even 35mm for the next build. But on the positive side, the rear view looks great.
